Core functions and working principles

The vertical seam roof panel machine uses continuous rolling, forming, and cutting processes to process metal coils into roof panels with side vertical locking edges. Its workflow is automated, covering four core processes: coil unwinding, roll forming, length sizing, and cutting and discharging
1. Roll unwinding process
The hydraulic/pneumatic unwinding rack supports 1-5 tons of rolls with a width of 1000-1250mm, and the tension control system prevents deviation and wrinkling. High end models integrate straightening and dust removal pretreatment modules.

2. Roll forming process
The 12-20 composition roller cooperates to gradually bend and fold the coil, forming a 25-80mm high vertical locking edge structure. High strength hardened alloy steel rollers ensure long-term high-precision forming.

3. Length measurement process
Photoelectric sensor monitoring, with a preset length of 6-18m (up to 30m) and automatic pause. High quality equipment has a sizing error of ± 2mm to ensure splicing accuracy.

4. Cut off the discharge process
Hydraulic shearing machine or flying saw cuts at a speed of 0.5-1.5m/s, with a smooth and burr free cross-section. Some devices are integrated with automatic palletizing for easy storage and transportation.
